Creole Language

English is the official langage of Saint Vincent and Grenadine. Most people there or the Vincentians speak Vincential Creole. Creole is used at informal situations such as when they having a conversations with friend. English is used in formal situations like for government, religion and education. Vincential Creole contains of elements of French and Antillean Creole, Spanish and Portuguese. Vincential Creole is influenced by the Garifuna or the indigenos Kalinago and the African language brought over that Atlantic Ocean by way of slave trade.
